In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.Surely We revealed it on the grand night.And what will make you comprehend what the grand nightThe grand night is better than a thousand months.The angels and Gibreel descend in it by the permission of their Lord for every affair,Peace! it is till the break of the morning.
The month of Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was sent down, a guidance for the people, and clear verses of guidance and criterion. [Quran: Chapter 2, 183]
The month of Ramadhan has been made so that mankind can take benefit of the merits and blessings contained within to change themselves for the better and by doing so create a bond with Allah that will continue throughout the eleven remaining months.
